Day off productivity

Yesterday I had the day off for the MLK holiday. I tried to make the day as productive as possible. Since merging households, Roman and I have been in desperate need of some organizational help. Being the neat freak that I am and given our limited amount of space, I knew the place to go to solve our problems...The Container Store.

Somehow in my 27 years of life, I have managed to stay out of this store until yesterday. Yesterday, my world became complete. Walking into that place was my own personal spiritual experience. But, I knew I had to exercise restraint and focus on the essentials.

Here are some of my favorite finds along with a Pinterest creation! I know...me being semi-crafty! Impressed? Haha. I also planned our meals for the entire week using all new recipes!
