Just an update on things recently mentioned on the blog...

1. After much thought and consideration, I decided to give up my Stella & Dot business. This year is all about putting my time and energy into the things and people that matter most, so it just made sense to move on.

2. I also resigned from Junior League. Along with devoting my time and energy to the things that matter to me most, I also have to start focusing on the things that make my life better. My experience with Junior League wasn't that, so I am moving on with full intentions of finding a more meaningful way of volunteering my time and service.

To make me sound like less of a quitter/slacker here...

3. Hubs and I started Dave Ramsey's Financial Peace University last night at a local church (ours doesn't offer it), and are so excited about it! We are looking forward to what we will learn in the coming weeks that we will then carry with us through our lives together!

4. And...the big news! Ro has a new job! Unexpectedly, a great new job opportunity came his way right after we came back from our honeymoon. After many rounds of interviews, the company invited us both to dinner to offer him the position! We are so excited for this new journey and the opportunity it will bring! He starts in February. I'm so proud of my hubs!

So there's what's been going on in my life...exciting, huh? :)
