February Photo Challenge - Day 1 & 2

I've seen fatmumslim's photo challenge floating around on a few other blogs, so I decided to jump on the bandwagon and give you all a glimpse into my life. Here are my photos for the first two days:

Day 1 - My view - this is my desk and classroom at the end of the day yesterday. Oh, middle school. Gotta love it. Did anyone else have lockers like this in their middle school? My middle school had lockers in the hallway. When I came to this school, I was so confused as to why we even had lockers...these suck!

Day 2 - Words - These are my notes from the sermon at our church this week on Vengeance. They are currently hanging on our fridge as the message hit me pretty hard. (Excuse my 6am photo shoot and inability to capture everything that was written.) Basically, the message dealt with identifying your subtle ways of taking vengeance on those around you and how to counteract your actions. For me, my vengeance is belittling...because obviously, NO ONE can do it as well as me. No, not even Roman. This is my reminder to work really hard on being more humble. I'm working on it every single day.

Stay tuned for this rest of the challenge, and the growing display of my Instagram skillz.

  1. I am visiting from the photo a day challenge. I love your notes from your pastor's sermon. I am also a teacher so I can appreciate your view. Looking forward to seeing more of your photos.
